Dave brings a wealth of experience to the SDSC. He was the head Coach for the Y Bluephin Swim Club for over 20 years as well as the Technical Director for the Bluephin Aquatic Club for four years. In addition, Dave was the Head Coach for the UPEI Panthers for two and a half years and Head Coach PEI Canada Games Team 1981, 89, 93, 97. Dave has coached medal winners and finalists at Eastern Canadians, Junior Nationals, and Canada Games. He is a certified level 3 coach. He has personally swam at the 1973 Canada Games in British Columbia and the Junior Olympics meet in Edmonton 1974. Dave loves to read, play really bad guitar, sing on the pool deck and spend lots of time with his wife Yvonne and their dog Hershey. Dave resides in Brookvale.
Lori first became involved with the Dolphin Swim Club as a young swimmer when her mother Maxine Connors was the head coach and she remains a Provincial Record Holder in several events. Lori has continued to stay involved in some capacity with the Dolphins since she began as a young swimmer. She has held various positions on the Club Executive including President from 2004-2006. This is Lori's third coaching with the club. She is a parent of one of the Dolphin swimmers, Molly Wedge, and is the Client and Convention Services Manager for the Credit Union Place.
Jennifer has been involved with the swimming for over three decades, getting her start as a competitive swimmer with the Charlottetown Bluephins. She has over 10 years experience as a life guard and swimming instructor with the YMCA and Red Cross. Jennifer decided to get back into the competitive swimming as a master swimmer with L’Université Laval Maîtres Nageurs Rouge et Or, then onto the Moncton Maîtres Nageurs Bleu et Or and now Summerside Masters Swim Club. She is currently Vice-President of the Summerside Masters Swim Club, as well as a member of the National Board of Directors with Masters Swim Canada. Jennifer has competed at several Canadian Masters Swimming Championships and won a gold medal in the 2 kilometre Open Water Swim at the World Masters Games in 2005. Jennifer is a self employed IT Consultant currently working in Summerside.
